FAMILIAR FACE, DIFFERENT PLACE
- Catawba faces a familiar face on the bench on Wednesday, as they face Emry Tsitouris for the first time with her as head coach of Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball
- Tsitouris served as Catawba's Assistant Coach for two seasons from 2020-2022
- The former assistant went on to take the head coaching job at Mars Hill, where she led the Lions for the last three seasons, leading them from a one-win team in 2021-22 to 17 wins last season, their most in nearly 15 years
 
SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears also enter the contest with a 1-1 mark in the SAC after falling in the opener at Lincoln Memorial before taking an overtime win at home versus Emory & Henry on Saturday
