Catawba College currently offers 24 varsity sports that compete at the NCAA Division II level with 22 sports competing in the South Atlantic Conference. The role of the Athletic Communications office is to coordinate contact between student-athletes, coaches and the athletic department to the media. The Athletic Communications office is also responsible for disseminating information to the media and general public via various outlets.
