Sports Medicine

There will be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) at every home sporting event or on call if there are multiple home events taking place at the same time. In the instance that an ATC cannot be at a home sporting event, a member of the Catawba College Sports Medicine staff will reach out to the home and visiting coach and will exchange cell numbers as well as letting them know where they will be in case they are needed.

If an ATC is not able to travel with your team, please email the Catawba College ATC that will be covering the event or send a letter outlining any treatment plans needed by your athletes. Also, please provide a kit with any necessary supplies. Each sporting event will have a nearby athletic training room or taping area.

If additional information is needed, please contact Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine Brandon Auton.
