Ehmer, Morin earn CSC Academic All-America First Team honors

Austin, Texas — Catawba College junior forward Bree Ehmer and graduate student midfielder Kylie Morin were named College Sports Communicators Division II Women's Soccer Academic All-America Team First Team members, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.

Ehmer adds First Team Academic All-America honors to a host of other postseason honors, including South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The Ron Lenz National Player of the Year earned a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA through the spring 2025 semester, while adding outright First Team All-America honors to an impressive season.

Morin earns First Team Academic All-America honors for the second consecutive season, just one of two student-athletes in DII women's soccer to earn First Team honors in back to back seasons.

The First Team All-Region selection maintained her 4.0 grade-point average while leading the Catawba Indians in assists, while scoring the game-winning goal in the SAC Tournament final victory over Anderson.

Catawba posts multiple Academic All-America selections for the second consecutive season, earning three Academic All-Americans – Morin, Lillie Rusher and Kelly Havens – by the CSC a season ago.
