Chattanooga, Tenn. —- The 10th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis team earned its second nationally ranked win in as many days with a win over 13th-ranked UT Tyler at the Scenic City College Tennis Spring Break Showcase on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

DOUBLES

- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi picked up a 6-3 win at the #2 doubles

- Hanna Bougouffa and Tina Gomes helped clinch the 6-4 win in the third-ranked doubles match

SINGLES

- Katya Kldiashvili earned a quick 6-0, 6-2 win in the 4th-ranked singles match

- Tina Gomes picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win at #6 singles

- Ami Miya helped clinch the match with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win at the 2nd-ranked singles

- Bougouffa won the opening set before the clinch match was reached

- Igarashi also won the opening set of her #5s match
