Chattanooga, Tenn. — The 7th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis team earned a nationally ranked win over UIndy on Tuesday to kick off their play at the Scenic City College Tennis Spring Break Showcase.

HOW IT HAPPENED

DOUBLES

- Rin Igarashi and Sofia Antolini earned a quick 6-0 win at #2 doubles

- Ami Miya and Lili Drukerova helped clinch the doubles point with a 6-2 win at the top-ranked position

SINGLES

- Miya made it a 2-0 day with a 6-0, 6-2 win over the Greyhounds' 3rd-ranked singles player

- Antolini won 6-1, 6-3 in the top-ranked singles slot

- Katya Kldiashvili helped clinch the match with a 6-2, 6-4 win at #5s
