SALISBURY, N.C. — Anders Christianson set the Catawba College men's volleyball team's record for hitting percentage, batting .909 in a 3-0 sweep of Benedict on Thursday night at Goodman Arena. The win is Catawba's first at home this season.

- The blue and white mashed seven aces against the Tigers' two, but sent one more wayward serve by an 8-7 margin
- Each side recorded 19 digs and Benedict had the advantage in blocking, recording eight while Catawba tallied seven
- Block errors hindered the Tiger defense who committed four miscues as the hosts were whistled twice for net violations
