Anderson, S.C. — The Catawba College women's basketball team looks to build momentum off of their win over UVA Wise at Goodman Arena on Saturday when they travel to Anderson in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday.

PROUD PROGRAMS
- The matchup features two of the most successful programs in the SAC in the last half-decade, with both teams finishing in the top six in each of the last six seasons
- Anderson and Catawba combined for four SAC regular season titles between 2018 and 2024
- Wednesday's game is the first in series history (36 games) where both are under .500
- Before the Trojans' road win in Salisbury last February, Catawba had won six games in a row in the series

- Catawba made a point to start off hot in each of the four quarters in Saturday's win over UVA Wise, starting each period with an unanswered run of six points or more
- The Catawba Indians out-scored the Cavaliers 37-7 in the opening three minutes of each quarter
- Catawba matched a season-high with 30 defensive rebounds in the win; the Catawba Indians are 4-0 when they grab at least 28 defensive rebounds in a game

- The reigning SAC Tournament champions find themselves in ninth place in the SAC standings with a 2-6 mark in league play
- The Trojans graduated All-SAC First Teamers Diamond McDowell and Zamiya Passmore from last year's team
