Rock Hill, S.C. —- The seventh-seeded Catawba College women's basketball team saw its 2025-26 season come to a close on Wednesday at the South Atlantic Conference Tournament at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center with a loss to second-seeded and 13th-ranked Lincoln Memorial.
TEAM STATISTICS
- Lincoln Memorial shot 25-for-54 (46 percent), while Catawba went 13-of-48 (27 percent) from the field
- The Railsplitters were 13-for-27 (48 percent) from three-point range; the Catawba Indians shot 2-for-11 (18 percent) from long range
- Catawba was 14-for-20 (70 percent) at the free throw line, while LMU was 9-for-16 (56 percent) from the charity stripe
- The Railsplitters out-rebounded Catawba 36-29
- Lincoln Memorial recorded 15 assists to 14 turnovers, while the Catawba Indians had seven assists to 20 turnovers; LMU led 25-10 in points off turnovers

- LMU's lead grew to 22-10 in the first 30 seconds of the second quarter
- The Railsplitters pushed their advantage to 16 points near the midway point of the period
- LMU led 35-18 at the halftime break

- Lincoln Memorial's lead reached 28 points with two minutes left in the third
- The Railsplitters led 53-23 after three quarters
