Chattanooga, Tenn. —- The 10th-ranked Catawba College men's tennis team fell in its final game at the Scenic City College Tennis Spring Break Showcase on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

DOUBLES

- Santiago Passoni and Alen Bill earned a quick 6-1 win at #2 doubles

- Mateo Berne and Alessandro Valletta helped clinch the doubles point with a 6-3 win at #3 doubles

- Agustin Mastri and Luca Bergonzi were a game away from clinching the #1 doubles match when the clinch point was reached

SINGLES

- Ryosuke Inagawa turned around an opening 1-6 set loss to win the second and third, 7-5 and 6-2 to take the #5 singles match

- Mastri and the top-ranked UTT singles player both took a set on a tiebreak and were in the third set when the Patriots clinched the match
