POSTSEASON PREVIEW?

- Catawba and Wingate have met a combined three times in the postseason alone in the last two seasons

- The Bulldogs eeked out a 1-0 win in the 2022 SAC semifinal, but the Catawba Indians returned the favor in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament

- Catawba topped Wingate 2-0 in last year's SAC semi; while Catawba and Wingate did not meet in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, the Bulldogs did return to Frock Field for the second straight NCAA Tourney, falling in PKs to North Georgia

FO' HUNNID

- With a win on Wednesday, Catawba would become the first women's soccer program in the SAC (Division II era) to reach 400 wins (since 1990)

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

- Wingate is coached by first-year head coach Katie Mitchell, who served as the team's Assistant Coach last season

- After earning Second Team All-SAC honors with no goals scored last season, Manu Baptista Filipe is taking on more of a scoring responsibility in '24, with five goals scored already through 10 games

- The Bulldogs have scored three or more goals in each game of their active 4-game winning streak
